Back in Venezuela when I as a kid, there was this bead store near my house that I used to love and go everytime, specially around Christmas to buy supplies for crafting. Even though I was making felt ornaments at that time, I used beads to decorate them which made me fell in love with beads at a very young age. Later on, when I was a teenager I became more insterested in jewelry, I was curious about the different techniques, materials and processes involved. My mom used to do crochet and embroidery so I believe I've got that creative handcrafting vein from her.

 

Initially, I started making some pieces for myself and to give as a gift to my friends and family. When I noticed I could start selling my pieces, as an adult and after graduating in Marketing and working in a family business doing sales  for over 20 years, things started to go south in the Country and I started doing my research and went back to making jewelry, this time with more advanced techniques like macrame and peyote stitch. a little bit of wirewrapping and brick stitch. and started offering them to little stores around my block.

 

In 2014, when I moved to Canada , I started working in Customer Service and with an idea in mind, starting an online business. I opened my Etsy shop back in 2016, and put it on hold as it was hard to manage my full time job and a store at that time while still learning English and getting familiar with how business work in Canada , but I knew that I had to go back one day and continue what I've started and love to do which is making jewelry. After many time doing research and learning, I started listing my pieces in 2019. I also opened my website and saw the opportunity to expand into other Marketplaces like Amazon Handmade which I had to close as this website started to grow. 

 

I've always had this crazy idea that everybody should have access to the same top quality and exceptional customer service expected with luxury brands, but without being expensive.
